Congratulations On Your Upcoming Wedding!
This information is for TDCJ Weddings Only. 💍
Navigating the rules and logistics of getting married in a Texas correctional facility can be complicated.
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) will allow inmates / offenders to get married on TDCJ property or contracted facilities.
As an experienced wedding officiant with a deep understanding of the process, I specialize in performing simple, heartfelt ceremonies at TDCJ facilities across the state of Texas.
Your love story is one-of-a-kind, and your wedding ceremony should be too.
I understand that this is a deeply emotional and personal event, you're celebrating your love with just the two of you.
Whether it's a quick sign-and-elope style ceremony or a more intimate exchange of vows, I’m here to guide you through every step.
My legal role as the officiant is to officiate the ceremony and complete the Texas marriage license with the couple.
EVERYONE … must comply with the rules. Remember … Marrying an inmate follows a set process under the Administrative Directive, with no exceptions!
Wedding Day What's Included
Pre Ceremony Consultation: A phone call or email to discuss all the necessary details (paperwork, procedures, facility rules, etc.)
Officiating Services: A meaningful, brief ceremony at the TDCJ facility, including vows, and signing of the marriage certificate. (I'll be wearing a black officiant robe) If requested.
Flexible Scheduling: I will work with you to choose a date and time that aligns with the facility’s availability and requirements.
Special Touches: Bridal Veil, 3 Wedding Scripts To Choose From, Ivory Rose Flower Bouquet, Just Married Wedding Banner, Keepsake Marriage Certificate, and Just Married Photos.
Marriage Certificate Filing: I take care of filing the marriage license with the county clerk, so you don’t have to worry about the paperwork afterward. (If you request the assistance).
